MISSION:

South Cobb Youth Basketball Association, Inc. (SCYBA) is a non-profit organization that is 100% operated by volunteers. Our mission is to teach children, ages 6-18, the game of basketball, build character and teach them sportsmanship that is necessary to succeed on and off the basketball court.

More importantly we want the children as well as the parents in our program to have fun. SCYBA, Inc. has been teaching the children in Cobb County the game of basketball for 20 plus years and operates under the jurisdiction of Cobb County Parks and Recreation Department.

 
OUR PROGRAM:

SCYBA had an enrollment of over 230 kids for the 2008-2009 season and is the most competitive and one of the most successful programs in Cobb County. The kids in our program have experience levels ranging from none to school ball to AAU skill sets.

SCYBA needs additional volunteers to fill several positions. Contact an active board member for more information.
