EXPENSES: 

There are several fees involved in running the league.  Some of them are Referees, scorekeepers, gym rental, basketballs, uniforms, trophies, etc.  The registration fee that you pay covers all of these and other expense associated with running the league.  SCYBA also provides each player with a pair of shorts and jersey.

TRYOUTS/SKILLS EVALUATION: 

Every kid MUST complete a skills assessment prior to being drafted to a team.  This will be conducted by SCYBA coaches and or board members, who will judge each players skill level so each team will be made of players with similar skill levels.

PRACTICE/GAME SCHEDULE: 

Practice for all age groups will be one weekday night per week and a game on Saturday’s.  After the New Years break we will replace the last couple of practices with a game during the weekday.

END OF THE YEAR TOURNAMENT: 

After all of the regular season games are played, ALL teams will compete in the end of the year tournament. Check with your league director for the schedule after the regular season has concluded.

AWARDS DAY CLOSING CEREMONY: 

All players are asked to attend the Awards Day Ceremony.  SCYBA will be provided with a trophy.
